Position Summary
The Motion Graphic Designer will have extensive video and motion graphic experience to transform complex insurance, investment, and/or other financial information into visually engaging, branded marketing content. This person must be as comfortable concepting and presenting work as they are storyboarding explainer videos, animating infographics, creating new product videos from rough cut to finished product, adding animating to presentation decks, updating copy on product brochures, and working on a wide variety of other digital and print marcomm work. In addition, you will be interacting with external vendors and production teams, including giving direction, sending and managing assets, and reviewing for adherence to brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
Work as a designer on our in-house Creative Services team across numerous projects including promotional video, social media, web page design, motion graphics, and a wide variety of print and digital marketing content. Must be a conceptual thinker capable of transforming basic information from a brief into multiple creative concepts. Must be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously. Will work collaboratively in a team environment and interact closely with project managers, designers, writers, external vendors, and internal clients to meet multiple daily deadlines. Responsible for maintaining quality and consistency by strictly adhering to established brand guidelines. Must be able to interpret briefs into visually appealing, on-brand designs and other graphic assets to promote marketing and financial concepts (i.e., video, motion graphics, data visualization, email, presentation decks, and more).
Qualifications
5 years of experience
Must have online portfolio
Must have financial, insurance, or similarly regulated industry experience
Must have extensive video and motion graphic design experience
Must be comfortable in a highly matrixed working environment
